Terms of Use

Akibo is offered by M V GIROLNETO SOUSA, CNPJ 42.083.992/0001-08, Bairro Lúcia Alice, Bela Vista de Goiás – GO, CEP 75240-000. By creating an account you accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

Akibo is a personal assistant that works over Telegram and a web panel. You can:

• log expenses, income and bills by text, voice note or photo, including receipts and notas fiscais;
• see your ledger, budgets, cash flow, bills, goals and debts in the panel;
• optionally connect bank accounts through Open Finance, read-only;
• create reminders, tasks, daily plans and cost sheets;
• receive educational content and summaries about your own finances.

By default, Akibo shows what it understood and only saves after your confirmation. You can turn on automatic saving for some kinds of records in Settings.

Akibo organizes information and offers educational content. It is not a financial institution and does not provide investment, tax, legal or accounting advice. Akibo does not move money, does not pay bills and cannot make transactions in your bank accounts. Decisions about your money are yours.

Akibo does not provide securities consulting or investment advisory services, as defined in CVM Resolutions 19/2021 and 178/2023.

Answers and readings produced by AI can be wrong. Check amounts, dates and categories before confirming, and do not rely only on Akibo's reminders to meet due dates.

• You must be 18 or older and provide true information.
• Keep your password safe. We recommend turning on two-factor authentication.
• You are responsible for what is done with your account and the channels connected to it. Tell us at contato@akibo.com.br if you suspect misuse.
• Each person must have their own account.

You agree not to:

• use Akibo for illegal activities, fraud or money laundering;
• try to access other people's data, bypass security, or manipulate the assistant through prompt injection;
• overload the service, run abusive automation or work around usage limits;
• send third-party personal data without a legitimate reason;
• copy, resell or reverse-engineer the service.

We may limit or suspend accounts that break these rules, as described in section 11.

• Connecting a bank is optional and requires your explicit consent.
• The connection is read-only: Akibo reads accounts, balances and transactions. It does not start payments or transfers.
• You authorize the connection with Pluggy and your institution, under the terms they present, including the consent period. Akibo never receives your bank password.
• You can revoke it at any time under Banks. Revoking deletes the connection at Pluggy and stops syncing.
• Data comes from your institutions and from Pluggy, and may arrive late, incomplete or with errors. Check the amounts before making decisions.

Akibo depends on third-party services such as Telegram, Pluggy, AI providers and email providers. Their use is also subject to their own terms. If one of them changes or becomes unavailable, some features may stop working.

Free

a plan at no cost, with the usage limits described in the dashboard. It does not include bank connections through Open Finance.

Pro

R$ 24.90 per month or R$ 199.00 per year, charged in advance. Includes up to 5 banks connected through Open Finance, higher usage limits, a weekly summary and exports.

Prices are in Brazilian reais and include all taxes. There are no extra fees or hidden charges. The price, payment method and conditions are shown before you complete the purchase, and you only pay after you confirm.

Free trial:

• Each person is entitled to a 7-day free trial of Pro, once only, with no card required.
• At the end of the trial, the account automatically returns to the Free plan unless you subscribe to Pro.
• We make no automatic charge after the trial.

Payment:

• Payment is processed by Asaas, a payment institution, by Pix, credit card or boleto.
• Akibo does not store card data. It stays with Asaas.

Automatic renewal:

• The subscription renews automatically at the end of each cycle (monthly or annual), using the same payment method.
• For annual plans, we send an email reminder 7 days before renewal.
• If the price changes, we give at least 30 days' notice. The change never affects the period you have already paid for, and you can cancel before the new price applies.

Cancellation:

• You can cancel at any time, in one click, at Settings → Subscription, or by email to contato@akibo.com.br.
• Pro access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
• There is no penalty and no loyalty period.

Right of withdrawal (art. 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Defense Code):

• Within 7 days of the first payment of a subscription, you can cancel and receive a full refund to the same payment method.
• The refund is processed automatically and Pro access ends immediately.

Failed payment:

• If a charge fails, we give you a 3-day grace period to fix the payment.
• After that, the account returns to the Free plan. Your data is kept.

Refunds outside the 7-day window:

• Outside that window, there is no proportional refund of the period already paid, except where the law requires it.
• If there is a service failure attributable to Akibo, we refund the amount proportional to the affected period.

Invoice: we issue an electronic service invoice (nota fiscal de serviço eletrônica) for each payment.

Akibo is in an early stage (beta). Features may change, be limited or go offline for maintenance, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Keep your own copies of important information. You can download all your data at any time in Settings.

What you send to Akibo is yours. You grant us only the permission needed to process it in order to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not use your content to train AI models.

The software, the Akibo name and brand, and the site's content belong to M V GIROLNETO SOUSA.

You can stop using Akibo and delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account. Deletion is permanent and follows the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or the law, or that put the service or other users at risk, notifying you whenever possible. If we discontinue the service, we will give reasonable notice so you can export your data.

We are not liable for financial decisions you make or for records you checked and confirmed. We are liable for the services we hire to operate Akibo, under the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code.

Nothing in these Terms limits the rights guaranteed to consumers by Brazilian law, including the Consumer Protection Code.

We may update these Terms. We will tell you about relevant changes in advance by email or in the panel. If you keep using Akibo after they take effect, you accept the new version. If you do not agree, you can delete your account.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Disputes will be settled in the courts of the user's place of residence, as provided by the Consumer Protection Code.
